Ellen McMath Lambert, 97, of Winona Lake, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Sept. 8, 2013, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake. She was born April 23, 1916, in Raton, New Mexico, to James and Iva Mae Countryman McMath. On Jan. 8, 1938, in Indianapolis, she married James Edward Lambert, who preceded her in death in 1986. They lived their married life in Winona Lake and Warsaw. She was active in Eastern Star, serving as a District Deputy in the 1950s. She was also very active in the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and many other projects in Warsaw. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (and spouse Edward) Fox; three grandchildren: Michael (and spouse Melissa) Mollenhour, Judy Mollenhour and Julie (and spouse Joseph) McGinley; and two great-grandchildren, Eric Mollenhour and Joseph McGinley. The family wants to thank Grace Village and Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice for the wonderful care that she has received. Services and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
