NORTH WEBSTER – Ellen D. “Ellie” Stump, 81, North Webster, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Dec. 22. 2014, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City. She was born April 5, 1933, in Cromwell, to Roy A. and Estella Correll Miller. On Dec. 3, 1949, in Etna Green at the United Methodist Parsonage, she married Jack L. Stump, who survives. She was a lifetime North Webster area resident and attended North Webster High School. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for G & W Pizza in Syracuse and for Lyall Electric in North Webster. She is also survived by two daughters: Debbie (and spouse Kurt) Church, Huntington, and Diane (and spouse Jerry) Schuh, Warsaw; a son, David (and spouse Nancy) Stump, Ligonier; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kathryn (and spouse James) Bartley, Syracuse, and Helen Wagoner, North Webster. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mildred Cotton and Jane Campbell; and one brother, Joe Miller. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor Gary Colby officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Wilmot. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
