For the 27th consecutive year, Warsaw Elks Lodge 802 is offering free food on Thanksgiving Day.
The Elks will serve a full Thanksgiving meal at the Center Lake Pavilion in Central Park, Warsaw. The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The Elks also will deliver meals to people who are unable to leave their home.
Elks bar manager Donna Durso said the meal is free and open to the public. Last year, the Elks served about 700 people.
Durso said meal organizers have collected 31 turkeys for this year's meal. She said the meal is for people to have a good time and to make sure no one spends Thanksgiving alone.
