Warsaw Elks Lodge 802 held its annual kids Christmas party Saturday at the Lodge. The event was funded by the Lodge’s Wednesday night bingo program and local donations. The Salvation Army provided a list of 30 children in the community, ages 1 through 10. A luncheon was served for the children and their families with Christmas music and a visit from Santa. Each child was given a winter coat, a toy and educational books from Kosciusko County Literacy Services. Additionally, the kids were entertained with music, coloring activities and holiday games. Elk members and volunteers shopped for toys and coats. They also individually wrapped the presents, decorated for the party, served lunch and cleaned up after the event.
