Elkhart County Sheriff’s Detectives Seek Help In Finding Missing ChildOn Feb. 10 at around 9:54 p.m., the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 53000 block of Ind. 13, Middlebury, regarding a report of a runaway juvenile.
It was reported that Aleeya Cockburn, a 12-year-old female, had left her residence without permission earlier in the evening of Feb. 10. Throughout the weekend, additional information was provided by the family determining the need for a silver alert to be issued.
Aleeya Cockburn is a 12-year-old female. She has short black hair, green eyes, is 4 feet, 11 inches and weighs 80 pounds.
Cockburn was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black beanie with a doughnut image on the front, a black sweatshirt, a pink/gray jacket, and black boots. She wears glasses.
Due to Cockburn’s age, believed to be on foot last seen in a remote area, and concerns for her safety, a Silver Alert has been issued.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Cockburn, contact the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office at 574-533-4151 or Det. Lt. Bob Smith at 574-891-2352.
