PLYMOUTH - Elizabeth Victoria Wade, 82, of Plymouth, died at 1:35 p.m. March 21, 2009, in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Center, Plymouth.

She was born April 14, 1926, in East Chicago, to Nicolas and Elizabeth German Komanick. On Oct. 24, 1948, in Plymouth, she married Glenn Wade Jr., who survives.

She was a 1944 graduate of West High School, where she was a cheerleader. There were 18 students in her class. She was a homemaker who enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She worked part-time at Orr's Flowers, Plymouth. She was a member of Jolly Jills.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jeanne (and spouse Dan) Beam, Warsaw; two sons, Allen (and spouse Becky) Wade and Philip Wade, all of Plymouth; six grandchildren: Nicole Lancaster, Andrea Gale, Michael Wade, Audra Sullivan, Julie Sanders and Jennelle Wade; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sylvia (and spouse William) Tallarita, Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Minerva Schoberg and Mary Jean Espich.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, with Pastor Ronnie Sams officiating.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
