Elizabeth Lorraine Burkholder, 70, Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at her home. She was born to Tobe and Lizzie Winger Troyer on Dec. 29, 1947, in LaGrange.
Elizabeth graduated from Honeyville Primary School.
She worked as a housekeeper. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and sewing.
She is survived by four children: Lynn R. Burkholder, Warsaw; Kevin R. (Kresta) Burkholder, Mentone; Cheri Baugher, Syracuse; and Michelle Burkholder, Warsaw; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six sisters: Katie Miller, of Goshen; Edna Miller, of Middlebury; Fannie Bontrager, of Middlebury; Iva Miller, of Shipshewana; Verna Miller, of Topeka; Dorothy Yoder, of Topeka; and one brother, Toby Troyer, of Topeka.
Lorraine was preceded in death by three sisters, Lydia Hassig, Edith Schwartz and Mary Bontrager, and two brothers, William Troyer and Mose Troyer.
A funeral service in honor of Lorraine will be held at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24. Burial will follow in Stony Point Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23 at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford.
