Elizabeth K. RusherMILFORD – Elizabeth K. Kendall Rusher, 88, of Milford, went home to be with Jesus Monday, Nov. 2, 2020.
Betty was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Brandenburg, Ky., to William and Nola Stiles Kendall. On Sept. 27, 1949, Betty married the love of her life, Harold Rusher, whom preceded her in death on March 4, 2011.
Betty enjoyed quilting, hand crafts, cooking and camping with her husband and family. She loved being a homemaker, taking care of her family and being really involved in their activities. Betty loved the Lord and was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church for many years.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Clarissa Lee Skorupa, of Monroe, Ohio; Mary “Dennise” (Dan) Leismer, of Milford; three grandchildren: Mary Dannielle (Michael) Goodrich, of Fort Wayne; Emily (Adam) Swihart, of Elkhart; and William (Bridgette) Leismer, of Michigan. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren: Henry and Fred Goodrich, Marvin Swihart and Luke Leismer; and a sister, Myrt Thomas, of Kentucky.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, William.
In keeping with Betty’s wishes, private family services will take place.
Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Milford, was entrusted with Betty’s care.
