MILFORD - Elizabeth J. "Betty" Wood, 89, Milford, died at 2 a.m. Nov. 16, 2007, at Lakeland Rehab & Health Care Center, Milford.
She was born May 21, 1918, in Marion, to John E. and Clara Mae Whitifield Bradley. On Dec. 24, 1936, in Chicago Heights, Ill., she married John H. "Jack" Wood, who died in 1974.
She graduated from Bloom High School, Chicago Heights. She moved to the North Webster Area in 1956 from Chicago Heights. She was a homemaker and formerly owned and operated Lynwood Bakery in North Webster from 1956-69.
Surviving are two daughters: Barbara (and spouse Kye) Baughman, Chicago Heights; Lynn (and spouse Eric) Kolberg, Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.
Private graveside services will be Monday at the Oswego Cemetery, Leesburg.
