WAKARUSA - Elizabeth "Betty" Everingham, 80, formerly of Wakarusa, died at 5:29 p.m. in St. Elizabeth South, Edgewood, Ky.
She was born April 10, 1928, in NewPort, Ky., to Jess and Nancy Salyers Turner. On Sept. 2, 1978, she married Claude Everingham who died Jan. 22, 2007.
She worked at Johnson Controls, Goshen, for 18 years and worked at Cooks Pizza, Wakarusa. She was a caregiver for families in the Wakarusa area.
Survivors include two sons; five daughters, including Barbara Burch, Debbie (and spouse Carl) Finken and Darlene Graham, all of Pierceton; six stepsons; a stepdaughter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Nappanee Missionary Church, with Pastors Norm Reimer and Marvin Engbrecht officiating Burial will be at Union Center Cemetery.
