Elinor Frances Coy, 80, Warsaw, passed away at 7:56 a.m. July 17, 2014, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born June 1, 1934, in Providence, R.I., to Alden B. and Evelyn I. Michie Lufkin. On Oct. 22, 1955, in Providence, she married Orville “Pete” Coy, who survives in Warsaw. She was a 1952 graduate of Cranston High School, Cranston, Rhode Island. She was a longtime resident of Springfield, Va., and had resided in Virginia Beach, Va., for several years prior to relocating to Indiana in 2007. She was a homemaker and loved to collect bird figurines. Also surviving are her two sons, Steve (and spouse Felix Diaz) Coy and Thomas (and spouse Monique) Coy, all of Chicago; and a grandson, Nicholas Coy. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain, officiating.
