Elfriede J. Lagoni, 77, of Silver Lake, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Oct. 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1936, in Den Haag, Holland to Joseph and Cornella Lazeroms Popp. On Feb. 14, 1973, in Chicago, she married Charles Lagoni, who survives. She was a resident of Silver Lake for 10 years after moving from the Chicago area. She was a homemaker. She loved to cook and being with her family. Also surviving are five children: Paul (and spouse Tammy) Cacciatore, Glenview, Ill.; John (and spouse Chris) Cacciatore, Chicago, Ill.; Joseph (and spouse Kelly) Cacciatore, Lincoln, Calif..; Michelle (and spouse Herb) McKane, Plymouth; and Charles II (and spouse Suzanne) Lagoni, Racine, Wis.; a sister, Anneliese (and spouse Edward) Berch, Lewisberry, Pa.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one aunt. There will be no funeral service.
