Kosciusko Chamber Of Commerce and Times-Union will hold a candidate forum for the November election Monday night. All candidates in contested races will be asked the same three questions related to the office sought. Each candidate will have up to three minutes to articulate their position on the issue. A meet-and-greet will be from 6 to 6:45 p.m. with a moderated question and answer session from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. at Center Lake Pavilion, 119 E. Canal St., Warsaw, on Oct. 13. Gary Gerard, Times-Union general manager, will serve as the moderator. Mark Dobson, Kosciusko Chamber Of Commerce president and CEO, will serve as M.C. Brian Walsh, WIOE, will stream the event live. The chamber mailed letters to candidates encouraging them to attend. Dobson said it is important for the community to attend. “It’s extremely important that voters be given an opportunity to not only understand the position of a candidate running for office, but also how well they interact with the public,” Dobson said. “I can’t stress enough how important it is for the candidates and the public to attend.” People can register to attend at www.kchamber.com
