Filing for the May primary election began at 8 a.m. Wednesday, and ends at noon Feb. 6. The first candidate to file at the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office was Greg Anderson (bottom left photo), who is seeking re-election to the Plain Township Advisory Board. He was followed by Deb Wright, who is seeking re-election as county recorder; Bobbi J. Burkhart, county assessor; Alyssa Schmucker (bottom right photo, on the right), county auditor, incumbent; and Kosciusko County Council incumbents (top photo, left to right) Tony Ciriello, District 3; Dave Wolkins, District 4; and Joe Irwin, District 2. Everyone who filed with the clerk’s office in the first half hour Wednesday were Republicans.
