Eleanor T. Novak Longbrake, 94, of 1630 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, died at 10:15 p.m. June 14, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Pearl Urynowicz Novak. On Nov. 28, 1934, she married Lewis Longbrake, who died Feb. 22, 1965.

She worked at L.M. Berry, retiring in 1977. She also worked for Combined Community Services for four years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Rosary Alter Society and Young at Heart. She was a volunteer for the Kosciusko Community Hospital Auxiliary for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Lynn (and spouse Charlie) Wheeler, Warsaw; a sister, Lavern Sarber, Littleton, Colo.; two grandchildren, Cindy (and spouse Todd) Thompson, Fort Wayne, and Chris Wheeler, Aventura, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren, Mick and Molly Thompson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Novak, and a sister, Virginia Kern.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
