SYRACUSE — Eleanor J. “Jean” Robinson, 90, Syracuse, passed away at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Kosciusko County, to Ralph and Eloise Mabie Method.
She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1945 from Syracuse High School. She was married on June 7, 1946, to Thomas E. “Tom” Robinson, who proceeded her in death on May 26, 2001.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Switches in Goshen.
She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Syracuse.
She is survived by two sons, Donald (Kathi) Robinson, Syracuse, and Ronald “Frog” Robinson, Etna Green; three grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepgrandson, Sean Anderson; daughter-in-law, Deb Robinson; and brother, Theodore “Ted” Method.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Syracuse Cemetery, with Pastor Richard Maron of Calvary Tabernacle of Winona Lake officiating.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
