Eldon Pike, 87, died at 3 p.m. Feb. 9, 2009, in Warsaw Meadows.
He was born July 20, 1921, in Rochester, to Ora and Farie Wood Pike. On Nov. 8, 1947, in Elkhart, he married Mary Truex, who survives in Etna Green.
Living most of his life in the Atwood and Etna Green areas, he owned Pike Service Station, Atwood, for 26 years, retiring in 1983.
Also surviving are two sisters, Wilma Draper, Warsaw, and Ilogene Seidner, Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Forrest and Finton Pike, and a sister, Marilyn Young.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastors Dennis Bollenbacher of New Beginnings Church, Atwood, officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
