GOSHEN – Eldon L. Brovont, 54, died April 19, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born June 14, 1961, in Waynesboro, Pa., to Paul S. and Marlene Flora Brovont. On Aug. 10, 2007, he married Shelly Miller, who survives. A lifetime area resident, he worked at Jayco as the service shop foreman for 21 years. He enjoyed being outside, camping and mowing the lawn. He was always fixing things and helping other people. Also surviving are five daughters: Brandee (and spouse Bruno) Martinsky, Milford; Kendra Brovont and Lisa Groves, both of Goshen; Nicole (and spouse James) Greensides, Middlebury; Jessica Groves, Middletown, Ohio; his mother, Marlene Brovont, Goshen; five granddaughters; three grandsons; three sisters: Susan (and spouse Richard) Fingerle, Burlington; Elizabeth (and spouse Leon) Nead, Hart, Mich.; Julia (and spouse Allen) Yoder, Millersburg; and a brother, Alvin (and spouse Beverly) Brovont, Pasco, Wash. He was preceded in death by his father and his former wife, Barbara S. Watts Brovont. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery.
