INDIANAPOLIS – Eldon “Bud” Hoyt, 87, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Warsaw, died Nov. 3, 2011.
He married Doris Deloe, who survives.
He graduated from Warsaw High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester College and a master’s degree from Ohio Sate and Indiana universities. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He taught school for 35 years, beginning at Warsaw Junior High School and most recently at North Central High School, Indianapolis. He attended Castleview Baptist Church for more than 40 years.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael (and spouse Linda) Hoyt and Kevin Hoyt; two daughters, Kristin Hoyt and Patricia (and spouse Cody) Stark; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Harry W. Moore Funeral Home, Indianapolis.
