NAPPANEE – Eileen Sheets, 103, died at 2:55 p.m. Jan. 21, 2012, in LuAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee.
She was born Jan. 13, 1909, in Bourbon, to William J. and Rosa Mae Stackhouse Harman. On Nov. 16, 1929, in Warsaw, she married Charles L. Sheets, who died Aug. 27, 1974.
She farmed with her husband and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Church of God.
Surviving are two daughters, Norma (and spouse John) Personett, Nappanee, and Rosamae (and spouse Jerry) Davenport, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons, George (and spouse Bonnie) Sheets, Nappanee, and Wendell (and spouse Anita) Sheets, Bourbon; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Sam Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
