BOURBON – Edward Yarian, 64, Etna Green, passed away at 2:30 p.m. March 16, 2014, in Warsaw Meadows.
He was born Aug. 27, 1949, in Warsaw, to Claude Edward “Murph” and Angeline “Ann” Walters Yarian. He was married to Kathy I. Collins Wilson, then on April 28, 1994, he married Jane McFarland, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area, and worked for the Indiana Department of Revenue as an auditor and was a certified public accountant. He also worked for U.S. Tobacco as a salesman for Skoal Tobacco and he sold sports memorabilia for Midwest Sports Cards and Photos. He was a graduate of Triton High School and continued his education at Manchester College where he obtained his degree. In his spare time he loved sports, antiques, auctions and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Also surviving are nine children: Michelle (and spouse Dean) Ousley, Bourbon; Patricia (and spouse Brandon) Gall, Milford; Crystal (and spouse Sam) Wallington, Wellman, Iowa; Matt, Kelly, and Adam Neff, all of Bourbon; Amber Neff, Elkhart; and Samantha Neff, Bourbon; 20 grandchildren; and his mother, Bourbon. He was preceded in death by his father, who died March 6, 1979; a brother, Randy, who died Sept. 27, 1994; and a son, Thad Neff, who died Nov. 4, 1989.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, with the Rev. Gail Law officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The Deaton Clemens Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
