Edna Marie Bryan, 86, of Warsaw, died at 4:50 p.m. Oct. 8, 2012.
She was born March 14, 1926, near Sharpsville, to John Leslie and Jennie Florence Webber Bragg. On Nov. 27, 1948, she married Harold Eugene Bryan, who died March 12, 1978.
She graduated from Ball State Teacher’s College, Muncie, receiving a bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse. She worked as a nurse for Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie; Murphy Medical Center, Warsaw; Warsaw Community Schools; and as the nurse and later as the benefits director for R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw.
She was a resident of Kosciusko County since 1952, where she was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she was very active in the prayer ministry and helping in the office. She also was a member of Psi-Iota-Xi.
Surviving are three sons: Jim (and spouse Carole) Bryan, St. Louis, Mo.; Joe (and spouse Cindy) Bryan, Warsaw; and Jeff (and spouse Cheri) Bryan, South Whitley; a daughter, Jenny Bryan, Warsaw; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rex (and spouse Glory) Bragg, Three Rivers, Mich. She also was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Erik Ohman. A graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
