Edna G. McCool, 80, Pierceton, died at 2:36 a.m. Aug. 23, 2013, in her residence. She was born Aug. 11, 1933, in Carrollton, Ala., to Melrose and Hattie Pritchett Brandon. On May 12, 1949, in Columbus, Miss., she married Colie McCool, who survives. They were married 64 years. She moved to Warsaw in the early ’50s where she was employed by R.R. Donnelley and Sons Inc., retiring in 1993. She was a caring and tender-hearted woman who loved her family and was a good wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, crotcheting and being outside. Also surviving are six children: Bobby (and spouse Susie) McCool, Toccoa, Ga.; Mary (and spouse Johnny) Isaac, North Webster; James (and spouse Rhonda) McCool, Warsaw; Janice Osborn, Fort Wayne; Barbara (and spouse Junior) Isaac, Pierceton; and Jimmy Wolfe, Mattoon, Ill.; a sister, Laura Smith, Warsaw; two brothers, Robert Brandon, Warsaw, and Kenny Brandon, Etna Green; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Jim Baughman officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
