At 8:50 a.m. today, Edgewood Middle School began a lockdown drill. Local law enforcement, in partnership with Warsaw Community Schools conducted the routine drug search in accordance with the EMS school safety plan, according to a press release from WCS. “School safety is our top priority and similar drills will occur randomly throughout the year,” the release states.
