Eddie Ray Shepherd, 58, of Eaton Park, Fla., died Aug. 22, 2007, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Prestonburg, Ky., to Arnold and Susie Hall Shepherd. On Dec. 6, 1975, he married Laura Calhoun, who survives.
He was a stocker for Wal-Mart in Warsaw and Mulberry, Fla., for the past four years. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He spent most of his life in the Pierceton area.
Also surviving are a daughter, Brandy Shepherd, Lakeland, Fla.; two grandsons, Isaiah and DeMarcus Lawrence, Lakeland; three sisters, Bonnie White and Betty Taylor, both of Warsaw, and Mrs. Russell (Jo Ella) Wagers, Argos; and one brother, Danny (and wife Teresa) Shepherd, Warsaw.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Taylor Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
