Echoes Prepares For Plow DaysThe smell of fresh turned soil from a two bottom plow is becoming lost in today’s world of progress and farming, according to a news release from The Echoes of the Past. Those who would like to see vintage John Deere, FarmAll, Case, Minneapolis Moline and more in action are welcome to come out and take in the sights and sounds of the engines popping and the soil being turned. The Echoes of the Past will be celebrating that history on April 29 when the antique and vintage tractor club takes to the field at Sands Farms in Silver Lake. Plowing will begin at approximately 9 a.m. The field is at 3887 W. CR 950S. Spectators are welcome. Golf carts, side by sides, ATVs are not permitted on the property. The forecast at this time is favorable for plow day, but, as always, Mother Nature could change her mind so monitor The Echoes of the Past’s Facebook page for any change due to weather. If you have any questions about plowing, contact Frank Meredith at 260-704-1322.
