Echoes Of The Past Support 4-H Members At AuctionDuring the many activities throughout the year, the ice cream sales and tractor driving experience donations received at Echoes of the Past events are accumulated and saved in an account to be used at the Kosciusko County Fair auction to help support 4-H members.
The livestock that is put up for auction is bid on, through the heartache and tears of their owners, is then bid on by many, according to a news release from Echoes of the Past. The hard work and dedication the members put into their animals all year long then comes to an end at auction.
Some of those members may be starting all over again next year while some the auction may be the last one of their 10 year 4-H career, which makes the auction bittersweet.
This year, the Echoes of the Past was able to support 30 members with the sale of their animals by spending $8,600. This is double what the club has been able to do in the past.
The club appreciated the support of the community who attend their events. Without the support of those who patronize their events, they would not be able to help so many kids.
