Echoes Of The PastThe Echoes of the Past will be hosting spring plow day on April 2. The field is located at 3546 E. CR 1300S in North Manchester. Vintage and antique tractors of various makes and models will take to the field at 8 a.m. to begin plowing and prepping it for planting. Spectators are welcomed and encouraged. If you have never seen a field prepared by a 2, 3 or 4 bottom plow, turning over the soil, releasing an earthy smell you will never forget, make your way to North Manchester. Bring the kids and grandkids and let them experience it with you. The members of the club will be happy to talk with you about their tractors and explain how it all works. If you would like to participate and help plow, you do not need to be a member of the club. In the event of cancellation due to weather, the reschedule date is April 9. If you have any questions, contact Frank Meredith at 260-704-1322 or visit the club website at www.theechoesofthepast.com or find the club on Facebook.
