PIERCETON – Kaytlyn Eberly was named the 2012 Kosciusko County Fair Queen in a ceremony at Pierceton Elementary School Saturday night.
Eberly, 19, is the daughter of Scott and Darla Eberly.
She was sponsored by Luxe Studio. She is a sophomore in the Honors Program at University of Indianapolis, studying physical therapy.
She was a 10-year 4-H member, student body and National Honor Society vice president, and received the U of I Honors College Biology Club – Hard Worker Award.
She is a member of the University of Indianapolis Dance Team, Honors College Committee and “Future Scientist” teacher. She’s also an active member of her church.
Gayle Peters was named first runner-up Saturday night.
Peters, 19, is the daughter of Gary and Ginger Peters.
She was sponsored by North Pointe Cinemas.
She is a sophomore at Purdue University studying animal science in hopes to get into the Veterinary Science program.
She was a 10-year 4-H member and is a part of Purdue’s Deans Scholars Program. She is active in Purdue’s FFA where she is presently the vice president, Purdue Animal Sciences Ambassador and Learning Community.
