Earl Leroy Berkey, 70, Warsaw, passed away at 8:17 p.m. Nov. 9, 2015, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born July 13, 1945, in Warsaw, to Wilbur and Emma Ruth Howard Berkey. A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he was a graduate of Mentone High School. He was formerly employed by Ramsey News, Warsaw, and operated Specialty Machines, Milford and was self-employed as a farmer. Surviving are one brother, Wayne (and spouse Carol) Berkey, Claypool; one sister, Anna (and spouse Dean) Kronk, Elkhart; one niece, Deanna Kronk, Goshen; three nephews, Junior (and spouse Stephanie) Kronk, Mishawaka, Gary (and spouse Tammie) Berkey, Warsaw, and Paul Berkey, Claypool; and his long time companion, Diane Teeple, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and several cousins. A graveside service will be at noon Friday in Leesburg Cemetery with Pastor Don Willia officiating.
