Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine said an e-mail being circulated in the area regarding a virus being sent through the regular mail is false.
The e-mailed notice says the warning comes from the "Warsaw Sheriff's Department" and is in regard to a potentially deadly virus called the Klingerman Virus.
No complaints have been received by the KCSD about anyone having received the so-called suspicious packages that contain the alleged virus and no warning is being issued about it from local law enforcement.
Rovenstine said the e-mail notices are mainly being sent to personnel at area schools and there is no legitimacy to the allegations.
