E. Lauree Brubaker, 93, Grace Village, Winona Lake, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Feb. 13, 2016, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born July 13, 1922, in Wayne Township, Kosciusko County, to John D. and Flossie “Mae” Kurtz Foreman. On Aug. 27, 1977, in Warsaw, she was united in marriage to Wilmer H. Brubaker, who preceded her in death. She was formerly employed by Lake City Bank, Warsaw, beginning as an assistant cashier and rising to the position of operations officer after 33 years of service. She attended First Baptist Church of Warsaw and was a member of the KCH Senior Club. In addition, she volunteered for Mobile Meals as driver until she was 80 years old. Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Hively, Warsaw; six grandchildren: Sharisa Hively, Stacha (and spouse Tim) Gochenour, Kassie (and spouse Dan) Boyer, David Burgess, Troy (and spouse Penny) Burgess and Shane Burgess; 12 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Eldon Duane Burgess; a grandson, Sid Hively; a great-grandson, Austin Boyer; a great-great-granddaughter, Peyton Stogsdill; a brother, Kenneth Foreman; and a sister, Eloise Beiswanger. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, with Chaplain Richard Anderson, of Grace Village Assisted Living, officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
