BOURBON – Dwayne L. Wilson, 66, of Bourbon, died at 7:35 a.m. Sept. 17, 2011, in his residence, in the care of his companion and family.
He was born Nov. 21, 1944, in Jersey City, N.J., to Robert L. and Christina Moore Wilson.
A resident of the northern Indiana area most of his life, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a machinist and union steward at Rexam, Valparaiso, where he retired.
Surviving are his companion, Mary Snavely; six children; Jim (and spouse Lisa) Wilson; Julie Hutchinson; Joyce (and spouse Dean) Lark; Jeremiah (and spouse Lynn) Wilson; Elisha (and spouse Dale) Overmyer; Isaac (and spouse Nikki) Snavely; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dave Wilson. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
In honoring his wishes, there will not be any calling or services.
Deaton Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, is in charge of arrangements.
