PIERCETON – A dust collector caught fire at 2:33 a.m. Tuesday in Pierceton.
Pierceton Fire Department responded to the call at OMCO Manufacturing, 1 Arnolt Drive, Pierceton, where all employees had already evacuated, PFD Chief Gordon Baker said.
The dust collector, located above a welding booth, caught fire and took about 45 minutes to put out, Baker said.
Damage is estimated at $1,000 to $1,500 and no injuries were reported.
