DUI Taskforce Roving Patrols And Sobriety Checkpoint

County and local law enforcement agencies participating in the Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce will continue to conduct roving patrols and sobriety checkpoints this month. This project is made possible through grants received by the Governor's Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving.
DUI: Taskforce Indiana is a year long statewide project aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes, deaths and injuries. With the increase in traffic during these upcoming summer months, the DUI Taskforce is committed to making the roads safer by their increased presence and DUI enforcement throughout Kosciusko County.
The Kosciusko County DUI: Taskforce Indiana roving patrols and sobriety checkpoint this week will be Friday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Checkpoint will be set up on Main Street (Ind. 25) at Morgan Street, in downtown Mentone.
Law enforcement agencies included in this event are the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Mentone Police Department, Milford Police Department, North Webster Police Department, Silver Lake Police Department, Syracuse Police Department, Warsaw Police Department and Winona Lake Police Department.
