MENTONE – A sobriety checkpoint will be held from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sept. 13, at Lake City Bank, 202 W. Main St., Mentone, as a part of Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce project. The Taskforce is a year-long, statewide project aimed at reducing alcohol related crashes, deaths, and injuries. Participaing enforcement agencies include Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Mentone, Milford, and Pierceton Police Departments, North Webster, Silver Lake, and Syracuse Police Departments, and Warsaw, and Winona Lake Police Departments.
