Duane E. Ganshorn, 56, of Warsaw, died at 8:38 a.m. May 17, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born April 12, 1953, in Elkhart, to Earl and June Watkins Ganshorn. On Nov. 27, 1987, in Plymouth, he married Brenda Hudson, who survives.
Moving to Warsaw from Nappanee in 2001, he worked as a rolltender/inkman at R.R. Donnelley and Sons Co., Warsaw, for 30 years. He graduated from Triton High School in 1972, and was a member of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw. He enjoyed woodworking, motorcycles and time spent with his grandchildren
Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Brenda "Denise" (and spouse Haywood) Harrison, Argos; two stepsons: Donald Brent (and spouse Heather) Shepherd, Hollister, Calif., and Odis Jack (and spouse Shelia) Shepherd, Plymouth; his mother, June Ganshorn, Etna Green; three brothers: Ronald (and spouse Lois) Ganshorn, Nappanee; Terry Ganshorn (and companion, Barbara Drudge), Warsaw; and Tim (and spouse Jayne) Ganshorn, Etna Green; and seven grandchildren, Desireé and Benjamin Gilbert and Latisha, Casondra, Jack, Dalton and Zachary Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Ganshorn.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor John B. Lowe of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
