A Warsaw woman is in serious condition after the car she was driving struck a pole on West Winona Avenue, 500 feet west of Austin Drive, in Warsaw. Lillie R. Redden, 70, suffered internal injuries and was unconscious at the scene of the 7:28 a.m. accident. She was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment before being transferred to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Damage to Redden's car is estimated at $5,000 to $10,000.
