Driver Critical After Crash

NAPPANEE -ÊA Nappanee man is in critical condition at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne after a one-vehicle accident Monday night in Kosciusko County.

Norman Troyer, 22, of Nappanee, suffered extensive head injuries when his 1989 Chevrolet Blazer left the roadway of CR 850N near CR 700W, went through a fence and struck a tree.

The reason Troyer left the roadway is unknown.

Troyer was airlifted by the Samaritan Air Ambulance to Parkview Hospital where he was listed in critical condition this morning.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.

The Nappanee Police Department, Nappanee Fire Department, Nappanee EMS and Samaritan Air Ambulance assisted the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department at the scene of the accident.
