On Aug. 17, Larry Sidwell, 53, Anderson, died at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne after being hit by a car while driving his motorcycle on Aug. 3. On Tuesday evening, Sarah Wood was arrested for Sidwell’s death. Wood, 34, of 787 S. Bunting Lane, Warsaw, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance, causing the death of another person, according to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Wood had been driving a minivan north on Ind. 13 when she turned in front of Sidwell’s motorcycle. He was transported to Lutheran Hospital by air. On Sept. 10, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department received confirmation from her blood tests that there was marijuana in her system at the time of the crash. On Oct. 14, Wood told police that he has smoked marijuana the Saturday before the accident. Wood was booked into Kosciusko County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
