A truck driver transporting granite through Silver Lake rolled his truck and was then arrested for operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Colen Neale Hoffman, 59, Indianapolis, was driving north on Ind. 15 at approximately 9:45 a.m. when the car in front of his stopped suddenly, forcing him to swerve and crash into a park. The truck damaged the sidewalk, landscaping and a fire hyrdant. Craig Hollopeter, Silver Lake town Marshal, said witnesses confirmed what had happened. Hoffman was arrested and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $700 bond.
