Posted

In a brief meeting this morning, the Kosciusko County Drainage Board approved two variance requests.

Christopher and Julie Rankin requested a 35-foot setback from the McCleary Gochenour Drain, U.S. 30E and CR 325E, Warsaw. Ordinances require a 75-foot setback. The Rankins want to put up a new building.

Kirby Lawson plans to add on to an existing building at 50 feet from the Ruple Drain, CR 375E north of CR 450N.

Both approvals were unanimous.

Members of the drainage board include: president Brad Jackson, Donald Goon, Eldon Watkins, Maurice McDaniel and Dorris Harrold. They meet at 9:15 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month in the county courthouse, Warsaw.
