SYRACUSE - Dr. Robert Joseph Johnson, 80, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and formerly of Carmel and Syracuse, died Oct. 31, 2007, in Florida.
He was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Kankakee, Ill., to Joseph and Wellodene Johnson. His wife, Barbara Johnson, survives.
He was a dentist in Carmel for more than 30 years.
Also surviving are three daughters, Lisa Modisett, Shelly Haffner and Kristin Kellerman; seven grandchildren; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
No calling is planned.
