MENTONE – Dr. Orville L. McFadden, 94, rural Claypool, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 25, 1924, in New Haven, to Russell and Evelyn Pfeiffer McFadden. He was married on Nov. 10, 1951, in Millville, Mich.; his wife, Vanoma I. “Judy” McFadden, died Sept. 28, 2016.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946.
He had been a doctor of veterinary medicine in the Mentone area.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone. A graveside service with military rites will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at King Memorial Home, with a Masonic service at 5 pm.
