DECATUR – Doyle M. Winteregg, 85, of Berne, died June 23, 2012, in Swiss Village.
He was born April 9, 1927, in Berne, to Raymond and Pearl Yoder Winteregg. On Oct. 4, 1946, he married Phyllis A. Hoffman, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, including Terry L. (and spouse Cathy) Winteregg, Warsaw; a daughter; a brother; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Berne, with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. A Masonic service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Burial will be in MRE Cemetery, Berne, with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 468.
