NORTH MANCHESTER – Douglas Michael Smith, 47, of Syracuse (Dewart Lake), died at 11:40 p.m. April 20, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Jan. 28, 1965, in Wabash, to Darrell G. and Sharon K. Flowers Smith, who survive.
He owned Quality Design and worked at Kyle Swartz Construction, Pierceton. He graduated from Whitko High School in 1983.
Also surviving are a sister, Lynn Smith, South Whitley.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
