NORTH MANCHESTER - Douglas M. "Studly" Studebaker, 59, of North Manchester, died at 2:15 p.m. April 16, 2010, in his residence.
He was born May 5, 1950, in Springfield, Ohio, to Carroll and Rena Miller Studebaker.
He worked at Midwest Poultry, North Manchester, for 31 years. He graduated from Northwestern High School, Springfield, in 1968, and attended Manchester College, where he played on the soccer team. He was a member of Eagles and Moose lodges, both in North Manchester, and the Monday Night bowling league and a former member of the Fuze and CIA bands.
Surviving are a son, Alec L. Studebaker, North Manchester; four brothers, Mike (and spouse Cindy) Studebaker, Mt. Joy, Pa., and Tim (and spouse Gwyn) Studebaker, Stan Studebaker and Curt (and spouse Missy) Studebaker, all of Springfield; a sister, Shirley (and spouse Doug) Erwin, Urbana, Ohio; and a grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.
