LINTON – Douglas K. Bemish, age 64, of Lyons, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Evanston, Ill., on Feb. 22, 1957, the son of Howard Stanley and Alice Bushong Bemish.
He worked at Monroe County Recycling, then he worked at Napa Auto in Linton for 10-plus years. He enjoyed woodworking, photography and working on cars, but he especially had a passion for British motor cars.
Doug is survived by his sisters, Denise Bemish, of Etna Green; Dawn (Kenny) Getman, of Martinsville; and Deb Lukens, of Newburyport, Mass.; fiancée, Gina M. Cabatuan, of the Philippines; one niece; four nephews; and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
