Dortha Ann Gillespie, 79, of 1634 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, died at 4:25 a.m. Nov. 13, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Portland, Ind., to William and Thelma Bell Hampson. On Nov. 24, 1950, in Portland, she married Keith Gillespie, who survives.
She lived in the Warsaw area since 1966, and was a homemaker.
Also surviving are two daughters, Beth (and spouse Tom) Heiman and Linda (and spouse Gary) Fribley, both of Warsaw; two brothers, Reg (and spouse Nell) Hampson, and Bill Hampson, both of Portland; four grandchildren: Ann and Steve Fribley and Brian and Laura Heiman; three great-grandchildren, Keegan, Austin and Katilyn Bays; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother and a grandson, David Fribley.
A private graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Joe Wilke officiating.
No calling is planned.
