SYRACUSE - Dorothy Mae deSomer, 80, of Cromwell, died at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 1, 2008, in her residence.
She was born July 13, 1927, in Gardner, Ill. She married Frank deSomer, who died in 1964.
Moving to this area from Joliet, Ill., more than 30 years ago, she worked as a nurse for more than 30 years and was a nurse in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are two sons, John and Jay deSomer; a daughter, Judy deSomer; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Don Fenn; and a sister, Betty Schuck. She was preceded in death by two sons.
No services or calling are planned.
